Employment Period: two days on set during production (March 2024)

“Amagents” is a documentary film that “traces the commitment of five Zulu male crèche owners who commit their lives, against staggering odds, to educate and protect young children in the township communities of Hammarsdale, Inchanga and Ndwedwe in KZN. They are all qualified Early Childhood Development (ECD) practitioners and inherited their love of for ECD from their mothers”. I worked on set for two days as a DIT while expert interviews were being filmed in Cape Town.

Job Description: Filming, Video Editing and Content Creation

Employment Period: August 2023 – December 2023

I worked with Pinelands Players doing filming and editing work for their production of ‘Legally Blonde’ which was being performed at the Artscape Theatre Centre. I worked with them to plan the videos they needed to shoot, got a team together and spent a day shooting the videos, and then spent time editing them (with constant back-and-forth communication with them).
